Mount Kenya, high mountain in East Africa.
Dare to enjoy your next African adventure in Kenya
Mt Kenya is located in East Africa and is the second highest point in Africa.
It is a stratovolcano created approximately 3 million years ago and has several peaks at its summit, the highest being:
Batian [5.200 msnm]
Nelion [5.188 msnm]
Lenana Point [4.985 masl] – The latter is the only one that allows its ascent without technical climbing movements and is the peak that we will try to reach.
On the way to the summit, we will pass through different bands of vegetation from forests with East African cedars, Poducarpus trees and the giant Hygenia trees.
In addition to mountaineering among the dazzling landscapes of Africa, we propose you at the same time enjoy a unique cultural experience: Mount Kenya is considered sacred by the locals and occupies a very important part in the daily life of the inhabitants of its slopes.
The climate in the area is divided into two clear dry seasons and two rainy seasons, for this reason, we organize expeditions from June to September and from December to mid-March to take advantage of the periods with less rainfall. [/
MT KENIA ADVENTURE

And so you can see elephants, wildebeest, lions, cheetahs and zebras in their natural habitat. And many more species protected in plains parks and reserves under the African giant.
