South America offers you all the possibilities for mountaineering, trekking and climbing.
Whether in Patagonia, in the white mountains of Bolivia, Peru or in the volcanoes of northern Argentina and Chile. South America is a continent to know practicing mountain climbing.
The jungle, the steppe, the desert, the forests and the glaciers have something in common in South America. The mountains of the Andes mountain range at the bottom of each of these landscapes. It is a mountain range so extensive, that in its wake the local geographies change, they change from jungle to desert, and from desert to forest to end there in the south of the continent with the forests giving the prominence to the great glaciers.
In South America you will find the flame of your surprise more alive than ever. To find a lake over 4,000 meters high in the highlands of Peru and Bolivia. Or to travel hundreds of kilometers of salt flats in a high desert in the approach to the highest volcanoes on the planet in northern Argentina and Chile.
Argentina and Chile have the largest mountain ranges in the entire continent. In the center – west of Argentina the maximum height of the west rises, the Aconcagua hill with 6,962 meters. Here you will find the ideal destination for mountaineering.
Patagonia is one of the most beautiful regions in the world for trekking. Glaciers, forests and rivers still hide wild nature and harmony between the landscape and the human being. Patagonian volcanoes are triangles of snow and ice that stand out over coniferous forests in a fantastic landscape. A paradise for mountaineering of heights less than 5.000 meters where the acclimatization is easier.
In Brazil, there is the greatest diversity of climbing centers on the continent. The mountain ranges in many regions of the country offer climbing centers with jungle landscapes or beaches.
